Save this outfit

I really love this jacket. I scored it for next to nothing at an Old Navy clearance sale and it is surprisingly flattering. The problem is I don't know what pants to wear with it. Jeans are the obvious choice but I that limits my ability to wear it work. Anyone have any other ideas? While we're on the subject - what do you think of the navy t-shirt and yellow scarf combo? Too much color?

No, I love the color combo! Maybe black slacks?

I think grey pants would be sooo fresh, and seasonless. Just vary the material, cotton for now, nubby wooly tweedy ones in fall/winter.

Agreed on grey, maybe stylish capris? Also a skirt would totally work. I actually think that jacket would go with just about anything. Shorts, even! (Not that you're going to wear that to work.) And I had to laugh a little about you asking if that was too much color, since today I'm wearing jean capris, blue polka-dot socks, and orange and yellow shoes. Some days I feel that anything short of clown pants is not enough color (though I most certainly have all-black days too).

I love the idea of grey. I never even considered grey and brown together. Bonus - I already have grey pants!

Khaki Capris with a slight flare let would be awesome. I also like the idea of grey slacks.
