Here's a shot of the heel area. There is also some sort of harness detail on the back that clinks when I walk, thus announcing my presence to the world and fucking up any chance I had of sneaking up on a gazelle and slaughtering myself some lunch.
The occasional musings of an inveterate shopper who wants to get control over her "stuff" and who thinks that taking pictures of her outfits will help.

I think if you're hesitating over the boots, you probably don't love them. And they're in great enough shape that you could get a good price for them on eBay or wherever.
It never ever occurred to me that I could sell worn shoes. Clearly this blog has just paid for itself.
I don't love the boots but would they fill a hole in your wardrobe? I think the wide calf boots migth sell because they are hard to find.
I need some new fat boots myself. I have man calves, but very skinny ankles. So boots with extended calves tend to eventually slide down and pool around my ankles in a highly attractive manner.
But like Anne said, if you're on the fence about them, then they should go.
The heel kind of kills them for me. I like a more substantial heel on a boot. Even if they're flat boots, the heel should have a little more presence. Those heels look kind of wimpy. I do love the color, though.
And Anne is totally right about selling used shoes! I have eBayed a crazy number of used shoes, AND I have bought a fair number of used eBay shoes, too!
