That 70's Dress

I am pretty sure this dress looks cuter in person than in this photo.  My cats seemed to think so but they also seem to think I look fine in a bathrobe as long as I am petting or feeding them.   Speaking of cats, last night I missed my opportunity to capture a video that I am certain would have gone viral and made me a fortune.   Baxter the cat managed to get himself stuck in a paper bag and ran around for a least a minute before the bag was shredded and he was freed. No harm was done, other than to his pride.  The cat toys by my feet are survivors of the event (they were in the bag).

Monkey Monday

One surefire way to make a draggy Monday morning bearable - put on a monkey face Band-Aid.  Another way, coffee.  Lots and lots of coffee.  Possibly with a side of Halloween candy.  I also suggest an adjustable wrap dress to offset any coffee/candy related expansion.

Lump Day

I realized after I took this photo that this dress requires some stronger foundation garments than  I usually wear.  But rather than go find some I decided to just be lumpy.

disappointment

This dress remains a bit of a disappointment.  When I purchased it I was positive it was going to solve all of my wardrobe problems.  After all many of wardrobe successes involve wrap dresses or stripes.  So a combination of the two seemed like a no-brainer.  And yet something remains "off".

Repeats

I know I have worn this recently, but some days you just want to wear something you know works.

P.S. Have I mentioned how comfortable these shoes are in the last 24 hours?  Cause they are.

Easy

If you have ever seen my Pintrest board you would notice I have a thing for Diane von Furstenberg.  Although my budget will probably never allow for an original wrap dress, I was excited to see this DvF inspired dress at the Gap yesterday.  Thanks to a sale (30% off in stores this week!) and coupon, the dress ended up costing me .97 cents.   Which is a bargain since I plan to wear it a lot.
