I don't want to jinx things but I think I found the perfect plain black pumps I've been looking for. Although they have a fairly high heel they are surprisingly comfortable*. I cannot tell you how many Zappos reviews I had to read to find them, but I think it was worth it.

*I am going to a charity event after work and will be on my feet all night - so keep your fingers crossed these don't let me down!
