During the course of my fasting I will need to make some tough decisions about what to keep and what to rehome (sell). This gorgeous bag is from Hayden Harnett one of my favorite purse designers. I love the pattern and style but I question the long term viabilty of this bag. What do you think?

the bag is striking, for sure. personally, i stay away from patterns with bags because i find them less versatile when it comes to mixing and matching. how many times have you used it?
I also love the pattern. I wouldn't question the long term viability of the bag. I think I can work if you want it to. How is the functionality to you? A pro and con list might help you make a decision.
I say it goes, since I'm sure you have another, better black patent bag that can serve the same purpose.
If the goal is to edit, then perhaps you need to make a mental list -- XX number of black bags, XX of brown, XX of "fun" bags or patterned bags? I love it, but, as Tania observed, the colors severely limit its versatility.
