Comfortably Tight

This weekend, my sister  and I discussed tight clothing.  She maintained that all tight clothing was uncomfortable, while I opined there was a distinction between tight clothes and clothes that were too tight.  This skirt is exhibit A. Tight but not too tight.  In fact it is quite comfortable.

Dressy Before Coffee Always Messy

I slept in this morning and reversed my usual routine by getting dressed before I had breakfast (and coffee).  Although we will never know for certain, I can only believe I would have chosen better had I been more awake.

Whine and Cheese Party

This week has been exhausting. Even though all I have done is sleep, work on my Post It Note gallery*, and attend a (depressing) seminar on domestic violence, I feel as though I have been working non-stop for a month. My exhaustion has resulted in some pretty boring wardrobe choices - including this sartorial snoozer.

Absence Makes For Creativity

It is hard to imagine but I currently do not own any simple black pumps. I purchased a pair a few months ago but they are too large and I have given up trying to make them work. The absence of a black pump led me to pair these leopard pumps with a striped sweater and I like the result. I don't like the fact that these pants have gotten way too snug but I believe that has more to do with this week's M&M and French Fry diet and not any shoe deficiency.

Four Rights Make a Wrong

Individually I like each component of this outfit. The plaid shirt, although not my normal style, is cute. The sweater (a gift from mr. deathstar) is warm and I love the deep v-neck. The skirt is a fantastic color and shape. The sweater tights are comfortable and I love that they are grey not black. All together the result is ... not right. Can't quite figure out what the problem is but something is off.

Priorities

I literally have 15 minutes before all hell breaks lose at work today and I spent 5 of those minutes photographing my outfit and writing this post. Clearly priorities are not my strong suit.
