If there is one upside to spending months only wearing clothes from floor of your closet - it is when you do bother to look for something hanging up, you find a great skirt you forgot you owned. Sadly, my ability to write coherent sentences has not yet been found.

I don't want to jinx things but I think I found the perfect plain black pumps I've been looking for. Although they have a fairly high heel they are surprisingly comfortable*. I cannot tell you how many Zappos reviews I had to read to find them, but I think it was worth it.

I should have taken this photo before I had to run to court in the rain. You will just have to trust that I looked a lot better (or at least less wrinkled) a few hours ago.
